For some, the classroom is the only place where positive reinforcement can be found. Also for some, these moments are absolutely life giving. Water in a drought, as it were. A light in the darkness.

At the moment, I hadn’t realized the impact this man, Mr. Resendez, would have on my life. But the thing about people is… like seeds, they grow. And they grow better with water and sunlight.

Thank you to all of our teachers out there. ♥️ You do some of the most important work in our communities. The way you care for and tend to our children helps to shape our individual hearts and, by extension, our collective future. Every little word… every little drop of water… Every little ray of sunshine… may it be seasoned with love. ♥  Blessings 🙏
